The workshop took place in the Montclair Museum. The museum is surrounded by amazing gardens and wonderful art pieces. We were able to gather in one of their art spaces, where visiting professor Ann Le Pore, was able to teach the girls about the principles of composition. Then, the girls chose a painting to reproduce from a selection of them.
Then, we went out to the gardens. Each of us quickly assumed a different role. Some of us took care of costumes, others of flip cameras and others took care of time keeping. We rotated roles so that all of the IB participants had their photos taken. Soon, we collected stop motions of each of the girls.
After lunch, we went to the computer labs to edit the different footage we had gathered. We were able to work together with the girls and arrive at successful results.
